COPPER

The history of copper, which is one of the metals used in prehistoric times, goes back to the 9000s before common era. It is estimated that copper is one of the oldest metals used by humanity. The proof of this thought is the fact that copper is found in knives and hammers that are known to belong to the Stone Age and in more advanced tools and objects that belong to the Bronze Age.
Today, copper is used in many areas of the industry and it is an indispensable element of the industry. Copper is preferred in many areas such as transportation, construction, electronics, electricity, industry, chemistry, paint industry, jewellery and industrial hardware. In addition, copper, which can be used in cold air machinery and equipment due to its stainless feature, is always preferred for external coating. Copper is also used as point welding electrode during and in welding of panel radiators, gasoline tanks (etc.) and galvanized sheets (automotive, white goods), as an electrode holder in seam welding disc and spot-welding machines, as a plunger electrode in erosion machines and as a connection bus bar in transformers.
